The Lost Gardens & WildWorks Launch Crowdfunding Campaign

  • 24th Mar 2014

West Lawn has been ploughed and will be planted with poppy seeds that, once in flower, will stretch into the distance towards Mevagissey and become part of our ‘living stage’. Then on August 3rd our unique event, 100: The Day Our World Changed, will re-tell and re-live the lives of the brave men who went to war and the families they left behind.

We are looking to raise £7,500 to help pay for the poppy seeds, community workshops and music to mark the special day and will offer rewards in return for pledges of cash on the Crowdfunder website.

In return for pledges of cash, the Crowdfunder rewards include becoming a VIP gardener for a day, a VIP lunch with Tim Smit as well as poppy seeds of remembrance or a CD of the unique music being created for the event.

100: The Day Our World Changed is a day for the community, about the community, involving as much of the community as possible - that’s why crowdfunding is a great way to reach out to and engage people.

We’ve only got six weeks to reach our target, please help us by visiting the following link: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/100.
