Heligan learning

Thirty-five years ago, The Lost Gardens of Heligan were found quietly sleeping beneath nettles and brambles. Since then, they’ve been lovingly restored, become home to a farm specialising in rare breeds and enjoyed by millions of visitors. Today, Heligan has grown into a magical landscape that changes with the seasons — a place where learners of all ages can discover, explore and grow a love for nature.

Join our resident nature experts for hands-on learning experiences across more than 200 acres of gardens, woodland, farm and jungle. Heligan is the perfect place to bring learning to life and make memories that last forever.

Our mission is to help as many people as possible connect with nature and see the world in new ways. Learning here is endless — through guided activities, independent exploration and playful discovery. However you choose to spend your time at Heligan, you’ll be planting the seeds of a lifelong love of the natural world.
