Enjoy a group day out at the largest garden restoration in Europe, home to a National Collection of camellias and rhododendrons and bursting with romance and intrigue around every pathway and corner. Whether you are looking for breathtaking surroundings, history, horticulture, wildlife or a unique day in the heart of the Cornish countryside, The Lost Gardens has it all.

Please be aware that there are over 200 acres for your group to explore and we therefore recommend a minimum of a half day visit to ensure that you have seen as much as possible. In our experience, groups who have only allowed an hour or two to visit have been left feeling disappointed at how much they didn’t get to see.

Admission Only - for pre-booked groups (minimum of one weeks' notice) with 10 or more paying adults arriving by coach or minibus only. Payment for a group visit must be made in one transaction.

Productive Gardens and Pleasure Grounds Tour

Join our Productive Gardens and Pleasure Grounds Tour and step into a garden once lost to time, now beautifully restored to full working life. Explore the Kitchen Garden, Walled Flower Garden and Melon Yard, alive with heritage crops, exotic fruits and ingenious Victorian growing methods.

Wander through atmospheric working buildings, pause at the poignant Thunderbox Room, a Living Memorial to Heligan’s gardeners lost during World War 1, and then delight in the restored Pleasure Grounds, with their ornamental plantings, beautiful vistas, and stories shaped by generations of Heligan’s squires.

Welcome and garden introduction  - Past, Present and Future

On Flora’s Green we will give your guests an introduction to the history of the Heligan Estate along with the magnificent success story of its restoration.  We will also include daily ‘Garden and Estate highlights’ plus an overview of our future plans.
