New Tree Fern Walkway
02 April 2019
For years the Jungle team have discussed the idea of building a new Jungle path that follows the valleys natural topography down to and along the jungle valley floor. From here, the route would wind and bend as it makes its way through the hundred-year-old tree fern grove and out past Third Pond. This new trail would be truly unique allowing visitors to walk through and around these prehistoric trees giving them a sight that before only a select few had seen.

Stepping into Spring
27 February 2019
As we write our February garden update, a plethora of new blooms continually erupt within the gardens. Light pink camellias lead the march quickly followed by vibrant deep pink rhododendrons, below their boughs, drifts of white snowdrops and clusters of eccentric hellebores line our paths whilst daffodils take the spaces in between. This garden in rebellion is not a planned fight against the seasons but more a sign of just how mild winter has been.

Autumn into Winter at The Lost Gardens
27 November 2018
As the presence of autumn deepens and sometimes feels as though it is morphing into winter, the gardens take on a new phase. A phase of golden leaves dazzling the autumn skyline, fading in fragility as the winds blow until they scatter the pathways and garden beds with the last of their gold.
