Heligan Rangers: Wild Art
-
23 Oct: 2pm - 3:50pm
30 Oct: 2pm - 3:50pm
Step into the magical gardens of Heligan and let nature be your studio. In this workshop, children aged 6–11 will explore the outdoors, gathering inspiration and natural materials to create their very own wild artworks. Every creation will celebrate the colours, textures, and shapes of the natural world.
Children will have the chance to play, imagine, and express themselves through art, while connecting with the beauty of Heligan’s landscapes. No experience needed—just curiosity, creativity, and a love for the wild.
Please note:
Children must only be booked onto one workshop each day. Please don’t worry about missing out though, we will run these workshops again. Keep an eye on our website for updates and future sessions.

Heligan Rangers
These unique, enriching day experiences are set in the heart of the iconic Lost Gardens of Heligan. Designed to inspire and nurture, each day offers a thoughtfully crafted mix of play, learning, and connection with the natural world.
Led by our expert outdoor team, Heligan Rangers will take part in a wide range of activities that reflect the very best of Heligan:
- Nature-Based Wellbeing – Guided mindfulness walks, wild art, and peaceful moments under the trees help children slow down, breathe deeply, and develop a life-long bond with nature.
- Science & Conservation – From bug hunts to bird surveys, pond dipping to plant ID, Rangers become real contributors to the Heligan landscape, learning how to observe, record and protect the natural world around them.
- Creative & Practical Skills – Expect den building, cooking, natural crafts and storytelling around the campfire — with every day designed to build resilience, teamwork, and confidence.
