At Heligan, we welcome home-educating families . Our gardens, woodland, farm and jungle are living classrooms, full of opportunities for your children to explore, play and learn surrounded by nature.

We offer discounted entry rates for home-educating families visiting on weekdays during term-time. To make your visit even more rewarding, our learning team is happy to:

• suggest activities, routes and areas of the gardens to suit your topic or project

• point you towards our free downloadable worksheets and ID tools to support your learning journey (coming soon).

Heligan Led Workshops

Looking for something more structured? Our experienced learning team runs a wide range of engaging and interactive workshops that bring learning to life among Heligan’s gardens and wild spaces. If this needs a tweak to wording let me know, not sure whether you’ll create link that’s embedded in a current sentence or need a new one to introduce it).

Workshops are available for groups of eight or more children. This makes them a perfect option for home education groups and co-ops or communities and families who’d like to book together with friends

At least two adults will need to remain with the group throughout the session. Large numbers of children will need additional adults to stay – we are happy to discuss this with you before you book.
