Heligan Beavers: Inside Cornwall’s Thriving Wetland Restoration Project
18th May 2026
Our beavers play a vital role in this landscape, helping to create and maintain the rich wetland environment that so many species now call home. From the subtle movement of water to the signs they leave behind, their presence is transforming this space in ways both visible and unseen.
For those curious to learn more, our Beaver Talk & Wetland Tour offers a chance to go behind the scenes. Led by our knowledgeable team, these sessions explore the story of Heligan’s restoration and the important role beavers play within it.
Spaces remain limited for our upcoming July tour dates, offering a rare opportunity to experience this thriving environment up close.
Book your place on the Beaver Talk & Wetland Tour on 21st July 2026 19:30pm - 21:15pm.
