Following the success of our pilot earlier this year, we are delighted to announce that Free Range Pricing is back – running across an extended winter window from November 12 through to January 31.
Whether you're seeking a restorative winter walk, a crisp morning among ancient trees or time to reconnect with nature during the festive season, we invite you to experience Heligan on your own terms.
Simply book your arrival slot online and when you reach our ticket office, choose what you pay for your admission.
Why Free Range Pricing?
Free Range Pricing is built on trust, community and shared stewardship. Every contribution – no matter the amount – directly funds our ongoing work in ecological restoration, wildlife conservation and outdoor education across our 200-acre estate.
Your support sustains critical conservation efforts, including:
Thriving beaver wetlands, following the successful arrival of even more kits on the estate
Vibrant habitats supporting expanding populations of water voles, glow worms and native pollinators
Biodiversity milestones, including our red squirrel habitat and breeding programme, continuous native tree planting and dedicated outdoor learning spaces for schools and young people
Every pound chosen at the gate helps protect and enrich these wild spaces.

Winter brings a quiet, atmospheric magic to the Lost Gardens. Alongside miles of winding pathways and peaceful estate walks, highlights this season include:
The return of our roller rink: We'll be bringing back our popular roller rink so you can glide into the winter in style (additional ticket required).
Festive winter walks: Experience the frosted kitchen gardens, towering bamboo tunnels and ancient woodlands at their most serene.
Warmth at Home Farm: Meet our rare-breed livestock and see how the farm operates through the colder months.
Seasonal flavours: Warm up in the Heligan Kitchen with hot Sunday roasts, fresh estate-grown produce and seasonal bakes.
