Heligan enjoys an off-road link with the Coast & Clay Cycle Trail (Route 3 of the Cornish Way) and there is a public footpath from Mevagissey. We can provide contact details for taxis.
The Tremayne family has owned the gardens and estate for over 400 years. They lease the gardens to us. Heligan House is now separately owned and not open to the public.

When purchasing your tickets, please let our team know that you'd like to revisit and we'll upgrade your tickets to a seven day pass at no extra charge.

Should you require additional assistance for your Heligan visit, we offer free tickets for accompanying carers.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan are spread over a 200 acres estate. Approximately 13 acres of this can be accessed via even paths including; Productive Gardens, Pleasure Grounds and Home Farm as well as access to the Steward’s House.

A limited number of free parking spaces are available within the main car park at The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
We have been made aware of charges which have been introduced by our neighbours who own the nearby overflow car parking field.
Charges for this car park are currently as follows;
Up to 1 hour £free
Over 1 hours up to 2 hours - £2.50
All day until 18:30 - £3.50
Evenings 17:30 – 23:00 - £2.50
A season ticket (valid until 31st October) - £20 from Lobb’s Farm Shop.
The free spaces in our main Heligan car park are prioritised for blue badge holders, local pass holders and Heligan members. These spaces are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and cannot be reserved.
To clearly identify local pass holders and members arriving at Heligan by car, please collect a car sticker at your next visit. You can collect this sticker from our reception and admissions teams.

Yes, we will still allow you into the gardens if you arrive earlier or later than your booked time slot.
Day admission tickets allow all visitors to enter the gardens from 10am.
The only exception to this rule is to visitors arriving after our last admission time. Please refer to our opening hours for up to date hours.
No. Newt members do not have to prebook tickets. Please show your valid membership details at our ticket office upon arrival.
