RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch

Spend an hour birdwatching in our Wildlife Hide and play a vital role in helping us monitor Heligan’s garden birds.

During your visit, you’ll be invited to record the birds you see, contributing valuable information that helps the RSPB understand how local bird populations are faring across the estate.

Simply collect a recording leaflet on arrival or from the Wildlife Hide, enjoy an hour of observation, then return your completed leaflet to the Hide before you leave.

A member of the Heligan Wildlife Team will be on hand throughout the day to help you identify species, share insights, and answer any questions about the birds you spot.
