Follow in the footsteps of the great Victorian plant hunters who made sub-tropical Jungle dreams a Cornish reality. Be prepared for mammoth discoveries and colossal escapades.

  • 19 Jul - 2 Sep: 10am - 5pm

Step into the heart of Heligan’s sub-tropical Jungle for a sensory adventure inspired by the daring Victorian explorers who first brought this exotic world to life.

Begin your journey at our Jungle Hollow basecamp, where our seasoned intrepid explorers will welcome you, share tales of botanical bravery and stamp your first destination into your Jungle Passport.

Venture deep into the lush landscape of towering bamboo, giant rhubarb, towering tree ferns and hidden pathways as you discover fascinating plants and animals from across the globe.

Along the way, collect passport stamps, build your own explorer’s den in the Heligan Play Meadow where you’ll create lasting memories in this immersive summer family experience.

Before or after your expedition, return to Jungle Hollow to craft a wooden beaded bracelet, a handmade souvenir of your Jungle adventure.

All Jungle Giant Safari activities are included with normal garden admission charges.
