Canopies and communities is a new tree planting initiative at Heligan that you can get involved in.

Join us on Sunday, January 4, Saturday January 10 or Sunday, January 11 to help us on our journey to safeguarding the future of Cornwall’s woods and trees.

Together with Plant One, the Thousand Year Trust and Cabilla Cornwall we’ll be planting 10,000 trees at Heligan

Amongst the 10,000 trees will be:

1000 oak (roughly 500 each Q petraea & Q Robur)

2000 x Hornbeam

1000 x wild cherry

700 x field maple

500 x crab apple

2000 x Hazel

500 x Hawthorn

Grab a shovel this January to help plant the forest of tomorrow.
