Bumble Bee On Bramble Blossom

Join Three Bays Wildlife group to learn how to identify the top eight bumblebee species found in the UK. The workshop will introduce how to ID bumblebees and will encourage participants to engage with Bumblebee Conservation Trust’s ‘BeeWalk’ monitoring scheme- one of the largest bumblebee datasets in the world.

The event will consist of a classroom session, followed by a Bee Safari around the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan to look for these bumblebee species.

Ticket price includes a hot drink and Heligan cake and proceeds from this event will go to support 3 Bays Wildlife group.

If you wish to remain and enjoy the rest of your afternoon in the gardens, please purchase garden entry separately or use a local’s pass.

Please dress for the Cornish weather with layers and a waterproof, and wear sturdy shoes.

The workshop and Bee safari will take place in accessible parts of the gardens.
