BioBlitz partners

These partners will be on hand to help bring our BioBlitz programme to life.

Since 2009, FoPB have been promoting the conservation and sensitive use of Par Beach and assisting in the management of Par Beach Local Nature Reserve. They also lead volunteer work parties undertaking various conservation tasks on the nature reserve.

The Red River Rescuers are a group of like-minded people who want to help increase the biodiversity of the Red River Valley Local Nature Reserve and other areas by managing swathes of this once heavily industrialised area to restore areas of habitat being encroached by succession species such as gorse and willow. The members of the group come from a wide variety of backgrounds and new members are always welcome! We are keen to record any species within the Red River catchment area to help our conservation efforts.

Cornwall Wildlife Trust aim to protect Cornwall’s wildlife and wild places on land and in our seas. They are passionate about conservation and have helped people enjoy nature for over 60 years.

Since their establishment in 1983, the British Dragonfly Society have been working to conserve dragonflies and their wetlands through outreach campaigns to raise public awareness, citizen science projects to support research, habitat management for threatened species and much more.

The Westcountry Rivers Trust main vision is to see all west country rivers and freshwater environments flowing freely and teeming with life for all who depend on them. Their work is underpinned by science, experience and a commitment to the resilience of the region's freshwater resources.
