Join our expert guide for an unforgettable After Dark Family Fungi Quest, where you’ll explore Heligan’s gardens, woodlands and meadows in a whole new light. Armed with UV torches, set off on an adventure to uncover the surprising secrets of the natural world after dark.
Watch as fungi, lichens and tiny creatures reveal unexpected colours and fascinating details beneath the ultraviolet light. From glowing discoveries to curious woodland wonders, you never know what you might find along the way!

Please note:
Please note that this event will take place in an area of the Heligan estate that is potentially muddy in places.
We'd advise sturdy waterproof footwear or wellies. We'd also suggest long sleeve and trousers as we may head into the undergrowth.
The meeting point will be at the Hollow, which is located to the right of the Ticket Office.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Food and drink will not be provided so you are more than welcome to bring a drink and snack if you wish.
Guests are welcome to bring binoculars and a torch/head torch for the walk.
