Water Guardians Film Poster 16 9 Landscape

After 400 years, beavers are back in Cornwall thanks to three pioneering projects. Chris Jones, Yan Swiderski and Toby Davies recount their journeys in reintroducing beavers to Cornish landscapes, detailing both the challenges they faced and the incredible ecological changes the beavers have brought. Though the journey isn't over, they are still navigating bureaucratic hurdles and skepticism from interest groups like farmers and anglers. The story of the beavers' return is just the beginning, the benefits they bring cannot be ignored. From water conservation to boosting biodiversity, beavers have the potential for a wilder and healthier Cornwall.
