Senior marketing and communications manager

The marketing team at The Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall is looking for an enthusiastic and creative senior marketing and communications manager to help shape the exciting next phase of one of Britain's most important gardens. Heligan is embarking on the first comprehensive rebrand in its history, a full refresh designed to ensure its brand identity matches its status as a pioneer in regenerative practices and nature connections.

The ideal candidate for this leadership role will come brimming with ideas for new ways to tell Heligan's unique story and shine a light on a fresh 2026 programme of events. They will have experience in marketing as well as PR and communications and will have good people management skills.

They will have experience briefing and working with agencies and freelancers and will have knowledge of industry best practice and the use of marketing and communications tools and software. They will be able to write to a professional standard and will help guide and safeguard the Heligan tone of voice.

Experience in the tourism or gardens sectors would be desirable, as would content creation skills.

Salary will be subject to experience.
