Seasonal Retail & Admissions Assistant
The Lost Gardens of Heligan is looking for an enthusiastic, warm and friendly candidate for this role. This varied role includes working in both the Retail and Admissions departments at our award-winning visitor attraction.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with the public, with strong communication skills and a passion for visitor experience. They should demonstrate confidence to promote and sell memberships, with the ability to develop a good knowledge of our products.
The role involves the use of till systems, selling tickets, passes and guidebooks to our visitors. Retail activities include processing deliveries, pricing and merchandising. Helpful customer service is the core of what we do.
The position offers flexible hours ranging from two to five days a week based on seasonality, and predominantly weekend work. Additional hours are available during school holidays. This is a seasonal role, which ends in January 2026.
The wage is £12.60 per hour for 18+ year-olds, and £7.55 per hour for 16-17 year-olds.
