Head of hospitality and events

The Lost Gardens of Heligan is looking for a talented, meticulous and enthusiastic head of hospitality and events to help write the next chapter of the food story at one of Britain’s most beloved gardens.

Food is fundamental to the Heligan experience and the successful candidate for this role will be responsible for developing and enhancing Heligan’s culinary offer, while maintaining its unique link between estate and plate.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience running large catering venues and events. They will have a passion for good food and proven track record of delivering high quality service and experience.

The role will be responsible for the management of a large front-of-house team and maintaining consistently high service standards across Heligan’s varied restaurants and cafes. They will also be charged with growing and enhancing Heligan’s wedding and event-hire business and will play a key role in the forthcoming redesign of the Heligan Kitchen.

The deadline for applications is Sunday 15th February 2026 but may close sooner if the right candidate is found.

Salary will be between £45,000 and £50,000 annually, dependent on experience.
