Heligan Local’s Passes October & November 2020

This October, we are delighted to once again be able to offer all residents of Cornwall & Devon the opportunity to purchase a Heligan Local’s Pass.

For the cost of just one garden entry, pass holders are invited to visit as many times as desired, during normal garden opening times, until 30th September 2021, free of any charge.

As with many things this year and considering social distancing rules, the way that Cornwall and Devon residents can take up this offer has also changed and pre online booking is now essential.

With daily visitor numbers to the gardens restricted to ensure social distancing, our Local Pass will be available throughout October and November 2020.

Everybody wishing to purchase a Local’s Pass for the first time will need to click here to pre book a garden visit within these two months. Then, when visiting the Gardens, proof of residency (eg. Photo ID: Driving license or utility bill and passport) will need to be shown at the Heligan Ticket Office in order to receive your Local Pass.

Please note that anyone with an expired Local Pass is able to renew online at any time and does not need to visit the gardens to do so. Please click here to renew.

Do I need to pre-book to purchase my Heligan Local Pass?
Please pre-book a visit to the gardens by clicking here. When visiting the gardens, please ask our Ticketing Team to upgrade your garden admission to a Heligan Local Pass 

Do I have to bring anything with me to buy a Local Pass?
You’ll need to bring photo ID and proof of Cornwall or Devon residency (e.g. driver’s licence and a RECENT utility bill)

I already have a Locals' Pass. When do I renew this pass?
If you have already purchased a pass that needs to be renewed, you can do this by clicking here. Passes purchased in the autumn are valid until the end of September and those purchased in spring are valid until the end of February.

Can I buy a Locals’ Pass for myself and another person but they are not with me when visitng the gardens to collect my passes?
Yes, provided that they live at the same address. They will need to provide us with valid photographic ID on their first visit.

What happens if I have lost my card?
Please call or e-mail Heligan Reception to arrange for the collection of a replacement card for your next visit. Please note that there is a £1 charge for a new card.

Can I still enter the gardens if I have booked a visit but have forgotten my card?
Yes. Please see a member of our admissions team who will allow you to enter. You may be asked for alternative ID.

Do I get any discounts?
Heligan discounts are exclusive to Heligan Members (not Local Pass Holders). For information on upgrading to full Heligan Membership, please click here.

Are there any days when my Local Pass is not valid?
Local Passes will always provide you with access to the gardens but there may be an additional charge for some special events.

Do I have to join the queue with my Local Pass?
Yes. You will need to join our daily admissions queue for garden entry.

Do I need to keep my Locals’ Pass card when I renew?
Yes. You will use the same card upon renewal.

Can my son/daughter use their local pass on a school trip to The Lost Gardens of Heligan?
Here at Heligan we offer discounted education rates along with a generous allowance of free places for teachers and staff. To make it viable to continue to offer these benefits we unfortunately cannot accept local passes as a means of entry within a school booking.
