Heligan Halloween Tricks & Treats!

Saturday 23rd- Sunday 31st October

This Heligan Halloween Half term, we invite and inspire you to learn some new tricks to earn some Heligan treats!

Travel to our East Lawn Play Tent to join one of our have a go workshops, expertly facilitated by the spellbinding Pokya circus troupe. The tricks that you might learn will include poi, diabolo, hula-hoop, tight wire, juggling, unicycle, stilts and so much more.
Which one will you perfect?

Who will learn the best trick and will it be good enough to earn you a Heligan treat?

Pokya’s spooky Halloween instructors will be ready to help you discover new skills and tricks, expelling some Autumn energy in the great outdoors and providing fun for all ages to enjoy!

Twit-twoo!! Elsewhere in The Gardens, our reserve yard will host an array of stunning owls for you to come face to face with and you will realise they aren’t quite as spooky as you may think!

The dedicated Owl sanctuary staff will welcome you as they highlight all the natural tricks these creatures have up their sleeve to navigate and survive in the wild, to explore and hunt in the night, and which species of owls make The Lost Gardens of Heligan their home.

With our warming firepits alight, gather round to warm yourself from the fresh chill in the air and toast some marshmallows or yummy apples.

On hallows eve we invite you to enter our Heligan cucurbit carving competition…design and carve your best Heligan inspired design into a pumpkin, winter squash, courgette or marrow from home and bring it along to take its place on the Heligan Halloween cucurbit competition stage. Our Heligan gardeners will choose their winner!

In addition to this, our East Lawn play space will be open to practice your tricks and provide outdoor adventure and jollification all day.

This Halloween Heligan is sure to put a fresh spin on tricks creating a treat of a day for all the family

All activities are free with garden admission.
