Wildlife Wednesdays - Inspired by Wild Isles

With a programme of hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and wildlife safaris for all ages, learn all about the creatures that call Heligan home, and get inspired to help the wildlife on your own doorstep.

Join in with Bug hunting, Bird watching safaris, wildflower seed collecting and more, with a varied programme each Week delivering exciting and interesting facts about our native wildlife, the habitats they live in and how we can best look after them. Activities vary each week and detail of where and when to join in will be communicated at the Heligan Ticket office.

Additionally, throughout the summer we invite you to pick up a Heligan Wild Habitats map and explore the habitats trail, as inspired by Wild Isles. Discover more about our wild residents and how we manage the gardens and estate in harmony with them all. From bats to fox cubs, pollinators to Barn owls and our newly introduced beavers, we have wildlife in abundance happily living in our grasslands, woodlands, gardens and waterways. We look forward to introducing you to them and discovering a little more about how we protect them and their unique homes.
