Big Garden Birdwatch
Join in with the world’s largest garden wildlife survey, the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch this January at The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Do you know your blue tit from your house sparrow or your robin from your jay?
Why not join us this January in the Heligan Wildlife Hide as we take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch? Come and enjoy an hour with our feathered friends whilst helping us record the number of birds we see. The information we gather will give us a great snapshot of how our garden birds are faring.
For over 40 years, the RSPB has been asking everybody to count the birds in their gardens and parks. With over half a million people now regularly taking part, coupled with 40 years’ worth of data, Big Garden Birdwatch allows the RSPB to monitor trends and helps us understand how our UK garden birds are doing.
To sit and observe the wildlife community in your garden is beneficial to us and nature too!
Join us from 25th-27th January 2020, 10am-4pm.
